It is an aim of Friends Meeting School to serve worthy students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. We believe that a diverse student body fosters respect for individuals from different backgrounds and is an enriching experience for all. Partial financial aid is generally awarded, as long as funds last, with reference to indicated need. Priority in financial aid decisions is given to children of staff at Friends Meeting School, members or attenders of Friends Meetings, and others to achieve and maintain racial, cultural, and socio-economic diversity. To apply for financial aid:

1. Complete a Parents Financial Statement (PFS) which can be obtained from the Director of Finance. If divorced or separated, each parent should submit a form so that all potential resources can be brought to bear. The Friends Meeting School is code number 3305.

2. Mail the completed form to the Princeton, New Jersey address along with the processing fee.

3. At the same time, submit a copy of the first page of your PFS form and your most current Federal Form 1040, pages 1 & 2, to Friends Meeting School.

4. In approximately three weeks, a Report of Financial Need is sent to Friends Meeting School from Princeton with an estimated figure for what the parents can contribute toward your child's education.

5. The Financial Aid Committee then makes a financial aid determination based on documented need and funds available. Beyond the Financial Aid Committee, all financial information is kept confidential.
