 What makes FMS different? We create an environment where students of all backgrounds, faiths, and abilities come together in rigorous and lively academic pursuit.
But it's more than academics. FMS seeks to develop the whole student -- in mind, body, and spirit. We are not here to tell a student what path to take or what "truth" is. We are here to guide students on their path to knowledge and understanding.
Our belief is that if we do our job well our students will become effective citizens of the world. Each student will be one who is caring and compassionate; one who takes a stand in the face of injustice; one who strives to make a positive difference in the lives of people unknown to him or her; one who is intellectually curious; one who is loving; one who continues to seek truth throughout his or her life.
FMS is a nonprofit organization that operates without financial support from vouchers or local or federal taxes. It relies solely on tuition income, annual fund income, and endowments to exist. Being a relatively new school we are still building the foundations for a school that will meet the needs of generations of students to come.
We Need Your Help
FMS is "off the ground" and needs to look to its long term sustainability. We are positioning ourselves to serve a broad range of learners from every type of learning, social, economic, ethnic and spiritual background. Without exposure to the rich diversity our world offers, our students would be less able to deal with an increasingly complex and diverse world.
