Rebecca Zug - Head of School Search Consultant

Rebecca is an educational consultant and executive coach. She is the former Head of Upper School at Wilmington Friends School in Wilmington, DE. Prior to her fourteen years at Wilmington Friends, Rebecca was Assistant Principal of the Upper School and Dean for Students at Sidwell Friends. A born Quaker from Boston, Rebecca attended Westtown School and taught history at George School. She was on the board of Oakwood Friends from 2000 to 2003 and on the board of Friends Council on Education from 2012 to 2020. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Sidwell Friends School. Rebecca and her family were members of Bethesda Friends Meeting when they lived in DC and now are members of Birmingham Friends Meeting outside of West Chester, PA.

Rebecca has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Harvard and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
